ANCOP CAN WALK 2004
When : Sunday, October 3, Centennial Park, Etobicoke
To: All Brothers and Sisters in Christ Once again we are called to our mission of bringing glad
tidings to the poor. As the fall season starts let us renew our commitment to Gods’ call in ANSWERING THE CRY OF THE POOR.
On Sunday October 3, 2004 at the Centennial Park, Etobicoke with joyful hearts and spirit, we are
enjoining everyone to participate in the ANCOP CAN WALK 2004, our walkathon for the poor to build 700,000 homes in 7,000 villages in 7 years. As a community
member of CFC and Family Ministry, you will WALK for the POOR and request your friends,
relatives, neighbors, officemates to contribute to your cause. As a Walker you will volunteer
to solicit contributions from your friends and associates to sponsor your volunteer effort to
walk for the poor.
The MECHANICS of the Walk are:

Official contribution forms for Walkers will be distributed at the General Assemblies
and/or through your Household Head.

As soon as you sign in as a WALKER you will start soliciting contributions of any amount. We
suggest a minimum of $5.00 per contributor. Since majority of the WALKERS will come from the CFC
and Family Ministries we encourage you to solicit from non CFC members. The form includes a waiver
to be signed by the walker or the guardian of the walker if age is less than 18 years.

Walk registration starts at 8:00 a.m.

The 3 kilometer walk starts promptly at 8:30 a.m. and ends at 9:30 a.m. or until the last walker
comes to the finish line but not later than 10:00 am.

Sunday Family Mass will be at 10:00 a.m. and Picnic Brunch (BRING YOUR OWN) to cap
the Walk is scheduled after.

ANCOP CAN WALK t-shirts to be worn by walkers and volunteers are available for purchase at
$10.00.

Solicitors with $100 collected contributions are entitled to receive one free t-shirt while
supplies last.

All collections with solicitation form are to be submitted to the ANCOP Office at 6767
Invader Crescent Mississauga or the CFC East Office 156 Shorting, Scarborough on or before October
2, 2004.

An ANCOP table/booth will be stationed in the Park on the day of the Walkathon to accept
additional collections.

We welcome each member to solicit using more than one contribution form. Let us not
put a limit in our efforts in solicitation. Remember 777 is a multiplier bountiful number.
Those submitting early collections of $100.00 or more at the CFC/ANCOP offices will have the
chance to be early bird receivers of free t-shirts.
Come one! Come all! Enjoin all members of your family, friends, relative’s officemates, neighbors
as we welcome the fall season in our walk for the poor and contribute to our work
for Gods’ kingdom.
