CFC Kids for Christ aims to provide a Christian support environment for Kids of Couples for Christ members who are between the ages of 4-12. Owing to the wide age range covered by the ministry, we have programs for the Junior Kids, those of ages 4 to 8, and the Senior Kids, those of 9 to 12.
Realizing that a program for kids needs to be simply understood, exciting and fun-filled, we have put a premium on four characteristics for our Kids for Christ program:
It is FUN - activities are enjoyable and stimulate the child's creativity, perception, and sensitivity.
It is build upon FRIENDSHIP- activities encourage members to build strong friendships with one another.
It enhances FAITH- activities explain Christian faith elements in kids language. It allows free but responsible expression- activities respect the kids for who and what they are and what they can be.
The foundation values of the KFC's Power Program for male kids are the development of courage, compassion, competence and commitment. Similarly, the core values of KFC's Super Program For female kids are the development faith, confidence, love and strength.
Tree Planting at Downsview Park
In goes the CO2 and outcomes the oxygen! The result? More clean air for the people all over the world!
On April 22nd 2008 Kids for Christ Toronto took this lesson to heart as they participated in the Tree Planting Challenge at Downsview Park.
This challenge was part of the larger "Earth Day" event and the KFC Ministry showed up in full force gathering a mixture of 75 CFC, YFC and KFC members.
Working in small teams, the Kids for Christ dug, watered and planted in order to ensure their young trees would grow tall and provide the future generation with clean air.
At the end of the day, the teams were exhaused but still took the time to enjoy the other "Earth Day" attractions and booths.
All in all, the event was a great success for the KFC ministry, as well as for the environment.
Heart For The Kids 2
Whether it be books, music, movies or video games, if its a form of media, chances are you'll find a kid parked right in front of it!
Media gets a bad reputation for negatively affecting children, but can these powerful tools be used to help the KFC ministry?
This question was at the core of Heart for the Kids Two as over 30 YFC/CFC gathered at St. Philip Neri on March 15th 2008.
Extending the lessons learned from Heart for the Kids One, participants engaged in activities that allowed them to examine the the various character traits of the different age groups in KFC as well as analyzing the different kinds of media they are exposed to.
Ultimately, the aim of of the event was to determine creative ways in which media can be used to supplement and enhance our KFC activities.
The day culminated with a brainstorming workshop that helped participants develop effective planning strategies for their KFC events.
Through the grace of God, the event was a success as the KFC team felt better equipped and empowered to serve God through His children.

Evangelization Rally 2008
LOVE ONE ANOTHER! Sound familiar? If the CFC E-Rally came to mind then your right!
Love one another was the emphatic chant that filled Chingcacousy Secondary School on February 10th 2008.
CFC, HOLD, SOLD, SFC, YFC and of course Kids for Christ were all present as the message of God's love spread throughout the venue.
Following the powerful theme, Kids for Christ Toronto gathered together and with the help of their Ate's and Kuya's, participated in activities that helped them realize the power of God's love as seen through the Bible!
Much to their enjoyment, the kids were also able to create and perform their own cheer to show all their elders that they too love God and all their neighbours.
The assembly was a great success as the seed of love was planted to grow and blossom within the Kids for Christ members.
