SOCIAL ADVOCACY
We live in an environment wherein there is a strong pressure on the SFC to seek a life of pleasure and for them to lead the easy life. As a result, SFC is more susceptible to follow these pressures.
In our thrust for social advocacy we will research and implement activities to promote the sanctity of life and marriage.
PRO-LIFE MINISTRY
From its very inception, Couples for Christ has been and staunchly remains pro-God, pro-family, pro-poor and pro-life. A strong pro-life stance is very much in line with CFC’s way of life as well as its work for total human liberation.
In response to the encyclical letter of Pope John Paul II, The Gospel of Life, CFC established Pro-Life as a major ministry in order to raise consciousness among its members, as well as others, on the sacredness of life as a basic value rooted in the dignity of man. This is due to the imminent defeat of the “culture of life” by the “culture of death” as a consequence of the worldwide legalization of abortion, capital punishment and euthanasia as well as other anti-life practices.
CFC’s pro-life stance is enveloped in its life and culture through the promotion of natural family planning, fertility awareness and human sexuality, chastity education, advocacy and lobbying for pro-life legislation, among others.

SOCIAL MINISTRIES
Society, with its changing stripes and innovation carries in its web both good and evil influences. Sadly, the weed has grown amongst the wheat, and is choking the roots of morality. Family and basic freedoms suffer from the onslaught of apathy, abuse and materialism, in minute and massive doses. Corruption is subtle, change is slow.It is about time someone makes a stand. It is time for a change.

The introduction of the CFC Social Ministries initiated a whole new concept of national renewal and sustainable community development.
In 2000, 7 years after the launch of the CFC Family Ministries, the community began to expand its presence in socio-economic, socio-political circles ranging from integrated, holistic and sustainable communities for the poor to ecumenical and interfaith sessions.
